with a human smiter, its not hard to live through it. I ran smite for a friend a couple weeks ago, never died..no heal on my bar either. Just watch for the spots where the darts and spirits won't hit you, helps if the 600 is good at staying in range for bonds. Also, you can dodge darts fairly easily at distance, and a high health armor/weapons set helps as well. basically completely dependent on the skill level of the 600 and the smiter, though you can easily fit a heal or two on the bar. I was running with UA and br for the 600...might've used the br a couple times in the whole dungeon.
with a hero smiter, its probably a whole different story. give him a couple heals or bring another hero...

The smiter may get hit a few times, but nothing party members cant heal up with Breath or patient(if your bringing any that is) It isn't possible to completely avoid them but you shouldnt be dieing from them completely. Your main concern for the smiter is running through all the traps on floor 2.

Well, I'm primarily interested in running this for guildies/allies & possibly paying customers, so I was doing test runs alone. Think I'll have to bring along a healer then O.O.

fit a healing signet on the smiter bar or ask people you're running to bring party heals (kaolai, breath of greath dwarf etc) it's not an overly hard dungeon to do, I think you do not even need SB for it
You could actually do it with a Rit (600 khainei tank) or might even decide to sub your monk /rt, only trouble are the dissonance/disenchantment spirits that sometimes spawn (or the one casted by the ritualist beetles) but it's nothing you can't avoid by running backwards. I'm unstoppable for the kds (but this you know already probably)

Yea I'm using [I Am Unstoppable!] with [Spiteful Spirit] as my elite...I might switch it out for [Vengeful was Kahnhei] and try that out. The spirits are not a problem for me which are cast by the beetles, just a matter of kiting them.
I'm bringing a healer hero along, who also carries RoJ, so I can micro one of those to get spirits out of the way, particularly on the trap I suppose.

Edit: After further testing, I may successfully say ... Spiteful Spirit OWNS!!!11!!11one!! Also, taking a healer along and a slightly roundabout route in spirits was the key.

If you swap SS for VOR and thus go Mo/me, you can bring visages and a famine Ranger (who you will sub as Rt and give Party heals to), the run is going to be faster, since mobs do spam skills. Also Ural hammer does work on SS/Vor damage.

The ranger and the smite can be heroes. Both of them put all bonds on 600 tank, 600 bonds himself. Use spirits before aggroing. And tank obviously.

You don't need spirits at every group. You can do it with spirits only on Fendi.

having spirits every group speeds the run up alot faster having spell breaker up 24/7, other wise theyd spam spells on you instead of wanding / attacking

I know. I'll just be a bit harder fot him to know all the spirit positions. I know it speeds a run but i don't use cuz i'm too lazy recasting spirits for every group .

use LoD instead of storm chaser and they all die within one spell breaker. Or put RoJ on your ranger QZ hero and cast that on the balled group for the lolz. Plenty of ways to 3man that are much faster than the standard one... if you actually get good at the tanking role, you can do the entire thing 2 man 600/smite with no spirits... a pro 600 can tank fendi and archers with no greater conflag and with the downtime on spell breaker...
